The Hungarian National Tourist Board co-hosted a media event with American Airlines and Budapest Airport Zrt to celebrate the launch of American Airlines' non-stop service from New York (JFK) to Budapest. Martin Gauss, CEO of Malev Hungarian Airlines, a partner on the route, described the service as a new air bridge connecting Budapest with one of the most important cities in the world.
Mr Kam Jandu, Director of Aviation at the Budapest Airport, emphasised Budapest Airport's commitment to the future, saying, "Budapest Airport has a vision to build the best airport within the Central-Eastern European region." At Budapest Airport's Terminal, the Vice President International of American Airlines said, "We are delighted to launch this new flight from Budapest to New York, which is truly a oneworld alliance route."

Hungary has a lot to offer to its visitors. Some places that one must visit while on a Hungary travel vacation include the Hungarian National Museum. It is divided into several sections and has a great collection of art. Another Hungary travel attraction is Lake Balaton. This Hungary travel destination is the largest lake in Central Europe and very popular amongst tourists to Hungary. Heviz, near the lake, is the largest river in the European column and the lake is also dotted with villages around it. Aggtelek National Park, located in the north-eastern part of Hungary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a definite place to visit while on a Hungary travel trip.
